The IIHF has released the Pre-Championship World Ranking Report where defending world champion Canada is leading.

Entering the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Cologne and Paris, Canada is leading the report that includes points from the past three World Championships and the 2014 Olympic Winter Games with just the points from the 2017 Worlds to be added to get the 2017 IIHF Men’s World Ranking.

The Canadians are followed by Russia, Finland, the USA and the Czech Republic. Sweden, Slovakia, Switzerland, Germany and Belarus complete the top-10.
