IIHF Ticket Terms and Conditions of DEB Eishockey-Sportgesellschaft mbH

The person for whom this admission ticket has been issued has agreed to accept and comply with the Terms and Conditions given below:

1. Any use of the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship (Event) game tickets (Tickets) and admission to the stadium shall be subject to the following terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions) and such other rules (Rules) as may be established by the IIHF, the local organising committee for the game, the Ticketing Bureau and/or the stadium owner (collectively, the Authorities). Anyone who purchases or uses Tickets shall be deemed to have agreed to the provisions of the Terms and Conditions and the Rules.

2. The Ticket constitutes a revocable license. In addition to other available remedies, the Authorities shall have the right to cancel and/or require the return of Tickets, and/or refuse admission or expel a person from the stadium, if he or she is in violation of these Terms and Conditions or the Rules, without any refund.

3. Any person attending the Event shall not record, transmit, or in any other manner disseminate over the internet or any other media, for commercial or otherwise, any sound, image, or description, or results of the Event, in whole or in part, or assist any other person/s conducting such activities. It is prohibited to take into any stadia where an Event game is being played any equipment or device produced with the main purposes capable of being used for any of the activities identified above (except for mobile telephones provided that the phone is only used for bona fid personal and private call making/receiving).

4. Tickets may not be used for advertising, sales promotion or any other commercial purposes (including, but not limited to, offers for sale, use as a premium, give-away or prize in a competition or sweepstake) without the prior written approval of the IIHF.

5. For the purposes of security and the orderly and smooth implementation of the Event, if requested by the Authorities, all persons shall be required to cooperate in respect of providing evidence of identity, conducting inspections of personal belongings, confiscation of prohibited items, and/or body checks.

6. It is prohibited to take into the stadium where any Event game is being played any promotional or commercial item of whatever nature including but not limited to, banners, signs, hand-outs, give-aways, symbols and leaflets. The Authorities reserve the right to confiscate such items at the entrance. Moreover, it is prohibited to take into the stadium any kind of disruptive artificial noise makers, including but not limited to air horns, vuvuzelas, and megaphones. The Authorities reserve the right to confiscate such items at the entrance. Any person attending game venues (incl. the area in the immediate vicinity of the stadium) is not permitted to engage in ambush marketing, display commercial or offensive signage, sell any goods or services, wear or give away political, advertising or promotional materials, engage in any other activity which the Authorities consider dangerous or otherwise inappropriate.

7. Ticket holder consents to: (a) the recording of his/her likeness and/or voice by any means (including, but not limited to, audio and visual recordings by television cameras and photographers); and (b) the commercial and/or non-commercial exploitation throughout the world of his/her Image by any means and without compensation.

8. The Authorities will have no further liability whatsoever, including but not limited to any indirect or consequential loss or damage, loss of enjoyment or travel or accommodation costs. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Authorities hereby exclude any liability for loss, injury or damage to persons/property in or around the Venue. The Authorities shall not be responsible for any interrupted and/or restricted view of the Games.

9. The Ticket holder agrees that in connection with any dispute regarding the use of a Ticket or attendance at the Event, the Ticket holder will seek to resolve such dispute amicably with the Authorities and, if unable to do so, will submit the dispute, exclusively, to the courts of Germany; with all disputes resolutions being in accordance with German law.

User Conduct

No purchase of any item or service is necessary in order to enter the Game(s) and no payment is required from you to enter the Game(s). The sole consideration from you is that you agree to be bound by these Legal Terms and the Game(s)’ Rules.

The prize winner may be required to participate in future publicity. By participating in the IIHF Fantasy Game or IIHF Prediction Game, the prize winner and their guests agree that the IIHF can record, film and/or photograph their participating in all aspects of the relevant prize and exploit, and authorize third parties to exploit, such films, photographs or recordings in any media now known or hereafter invented in any part of the world and for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity, with no payment being due to the competitor or their guests.

The IIHF reserves the right to suspend and delete teams that contain team names which are deemed to be inappropriate or offensive. Depending on the seriousness of the situation, the competitor’s account may be deleted in its entirety without notice. Any such decisions by the IIHF are final. In the event that a team name is deemed unsuitable, the IIHF may reject such team name and provide the competitor seven days to change the name.

Any personal information that you submit will be controlled by the IIHF Privacy Policy (available at iihf.com (IIHF Homepage). The IIHF will not disclose your personnel information to any other competitor or third parties unless required to do so by applicable law.

The IIHF does not condone competitor setting up/joining games charging for entry and cannot be held responsible for their management or any loss suffered through users’ involvement.

The IIHF Fantasy Game or IIHF Prediction Game will be governed by the Game(s) Rules. The IIHF reserves the right to alter, amend, or supplement the Game(s) Rules from time to time in its absolute discretion. You agree that no liability shall attach to the IIHF as a result of any such change and so are advised to check the Game(s) Rules regularly from time to time. The Game(s) Rules form part of these Legal Terms. The IIHF will be the sole decision-maker of any matter of interpretation of the Game(s) Rules and any aspect of the content of, or playing of, the Game(s). Intellectual property
You acknowledge and agree that: (a) all IIHF logos and marks as well as all other proprietary materials depicted on this Website (collectively referred to as “IIHF Marks”), the Services and the Content are the property of the IIHF and may not be reproduced for any reason without the prior written consent of the IIHF; and (b) the Content, including without limitation, news articles, press releases, statistics, player biographies, photographs, images, illustrations, audio and video clips, is the property of, or is licensed to the IIHF. Pay Services
Please note that all Pay Services are provided through an independent billing partner and by subscribing to the Pay Services you will be contracting directly with the independent billing partner and not the IIHF.

You must provide the independent billing partner with valid credit card information. You are responsible for paying any amounts billed to your credit card by you or a third party, whether or not you authorized such billing.

Privacy and Security
In order to use some of the Services, you may be required to register with the IIHF by providing certain information about yourself, including your name and email address. General Information
The Legal Terms constitute the entire Agreement between you and the IIHF in relation to their subject matter, superseding and extinguishing any prior agreements, arrangements, undertakings of any nature, between you and the IIHF, whether oral or written in relation to such subject matter.

The Legal Terms and the relationship between you and the IIHF shall be governed by the Laws of Switzerland. In the case of a dispute, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zürich, Switzerland.

Any failure by the IIHF to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Legal Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

If any provision of these Legal Terms is found to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the parties’ intentions as reflected in the provision shall be given effect to the fullest extent practicable, and the other provisions of these Legal Terms remain in full force and effect. The section titles in these Legal Terms are only for convenience and have no legal or contractual effect.
