Day Tickets as of 27 September

Ticket sales for the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, jointly organized by Germany and France, will soon be going into its long-awaited third stage. On 27th September at 10am the sale of the much sought-after day tickets will start. They will be available for both venues, the LANXESS arena in Cologne and the AccorHotels Arena in Paris-Bercy. The tournament will take place from 5th to 21st May 2017.
The prices of the day tickets start at just 34 Euro in Cologne and 29 Euro for Paris. With these day tickets, fans can enjoy a full day of the unique 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship atmosphere. In the intermissions between games, a diverse entertainment program at both venues will offer the chance to celebrate with hockey fans from the other participating nations.
The game schedule, which was published in August, can be viewed on the official website www.iihfworlds2017.com by clicking on Games in the menu. During the preliminary round, up to three games a day will be played in Cologne as well as in Paris – at 12:15, 16:15 and 20:15. In the final round two games per day will take place.
The pre-sale of larger ticket packages (Group Round Package, Venue Package, Final Round Package, Final Weekend Package), which are on offer since February 2016, will also continue. However, as soon as the day tickets are on sale, some first games could be sold out very quickly. Therefore, the availability of such packages with up to 20% price advantage could possibly soon no longer be guaranteed and it may be recommendable to hurry up for them.
In Cologne, the main venue of the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, 34 games will take place including the preliminary round Group A (Russia, USA, Sweden, Slovakia, Germany, Latvia, Denmark and Italy), two quarter-finals, two semi-finals, the bronze and the gold medal game. Paris will host 30 games: Group B (Canada, Finland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Belarus, Norway, France and Slovenia) and two quarter-finals.
