Single-game tickets for the games in Paris of the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Germany and France will be available as of 19th February.

Single-game tickets for the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship games in Paris will go on sale on 19th February at 11:00. This is a crucial step for the Organizing Committee, which is about to launch the last sale phase by releasing individual game tickets for all games taking place at the AccorHotels Arena, including the quarter-finals. With only 81 days to go before kick-off, the OC of the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, co-organized by Germany and France from 5th to 21st May, is now entering its final stage. Single-game tickets for the games in Cologne will be made available in spring.

The single-game tickets for the games taking place in Paris will be launched on Sunday, 19th February at 11:00 on the official website of the competition www.iihfworlds2017.com. The tickets will also be available at the AccorHotels Arena box office, whilst the French Ice Hockey Cup final will be taking place at the same time. From the very next day, single-game tickets will be available across all sale networks.

The first ticket sale phases consisted solely of tickets in packages, including day tickets. The international public has been able – and will still be able since all packages will remain on sale – to benefit from “Team Tickets” that give access to the seven games of the preliminary round of their favourite team.

Overall 450,000 tickets have already found their takers in Cologne and Paris before the launch of the single-game tickets.

“The numbers are very encouraging, but this new launch is a crucial step that projects us into the final stage for the popular success of this event. The hockey family is rallying, just like foreign fans. The issue now is to make sure that the general public attends to discover a different and spectacular sport through this exceptional global event opportunity and in such an ideal setting that the AccorHotels Arena is. All the games find their own public, whether it’s for the French team or for the other great nations of hockey, like Canada, who will attend with the best players on the planet,” explains Luc Tardif, President of the French Organizing Committee.

This sale, right in the midst of the French Cup final at the AccorHotels Arena taking place on the same day, will be accompanied by an offer for all French Cup final ticket holders giving them an exclusive access to these single-game tickets. Preliminary-round games are ranked by the level of attractiveness meaning that single game tickets prices range from €9 to €69 depending on the seat category. Quarter-finals prices, on the other hand, start at €39.

30 games will take place in Paris, the secondary site of the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, including Group B preliminary round games (Canada, Finland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Belarus, Norway, France and Slovenia) as well as two quarter-finals games. Cologne will welcome Group A games (Russia, USA, Sweden, Slovakia, Germany, Latvia, Denmark and Italy), two quarter-finals, two semi-finals, the bronze and gold medal games. The game schedule is available on the official site www.iihfworlds2017.com under the tab “Games”.
