Asterix & Obelix show off cup at the Eiffel Tower

Asterix and Obelix showed up Saturday early afternoon at the Eiffel Tower’s first floor while dozens of visitors were discovering the joys of ice hockey, supervised by professional coaches on the 200 meters’ square ice rink, decorated in the colors of the competition. For the occasion, all the participants to the initiation wore the French national team’s jersey.
After greeting the visitors of the tower’s first floor, the mascots of the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship set foot on the rink. This was the occasion for them to unveil the trophy of the 2017 World Championship in a such an unusual and stunning setting, 57 meters high, for the great satisfaction of children and grown-ups.
